Eva Baxter
I completed my PhD in molecular biology and oncology at the University of Edinburgh in 2012. In 2013 I moved to Brisbane to undertake a Postdoc at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute researching oestrogen signalling in women’s cancers. In 2018 I joined the Queensland Centre for Gynaecological Cancer Research at The University of Queensland where my focus is on identifying and validating biomarkers to improve outcomes for women with gynaecological cancers. I currently lead the translational studies for two clinical trials: feMMe (NCT01686126) which explored intrauterine progestin as an alternative to surgery and ENDO-3 (NCT04073706) which will determine the value of sentinel node biopsy in early-stage endometrial cancer.
